RRC Launches Public GIS Viewer Enhancement

he Railroad Commission of Texas’ (RRC) Public GIS Viewer has a new feature! The Radius Tool in the Public GIS Viewer has been enhanced to display well data about multiple wells in a user-specified radius. The surface and downhole data on multiple wells can now be easily downloaded and opened with software such as Microsoft Excel.

To assist users, Radius Tool and Download Wells instructions are on pages 18-21 of the Public GIS Viewer User Guide. The user guide is available in the Help menu in the Public GIS Viewer application and on the Public GIS Viewer web page.
